Owen Mumford Unifine Pentips Plus 5mm x 31G
Owen Mumford’s Unifine Pentips are a special line of pen needles developed to offer users with a more comfortable injection testing experience. More than half of the users with diabetes deliberately skip their insulin injections and one main factor due to the fear of pain.
Unifine Pentips “Plus” adds a built-in disposal / removal chamber and safety / convenience features (Safe Click, ergonomic design) to make handling of used needles easier and safer, especially when a sharps disposal bin is not immediately available.

These pen needles are specially designed to provide superior comfort by focusing on four areas:
- Thin wall technology to improve drug flow, aiding less thumb force and time to deliver the dose, reducing the risk of thumb arthritis.
- Uses the same high-quality needle technology (same bevel, thin-wall, lubrication etc.) as Pentips
- Integrated needle removal chamber / disposal feature built in (so you can temporarily store the used needle in a built-in chamber)
- Larger, ridged cap, ergonomic design to assist people with dexterity issues; easier grip when fitting / removing the needle, especially helpful in removal from the pen device
- Also compatible with all major injection pens; same size / gauge options available (4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 12 mm)
- Precision sharpened needle tips designed to reduce penetration force.
- Advanced silicone lubrication designed for a lower glide force – Reducing friction between the needle and patients’ skin, for smoother entry and removal of the needle.
- In addition to comfort, designed to increase frequency of needle changes (i.e. discourage re-use), improving safe injection habits, and provide interim safe disposal
